Wichita Collegiate School excels by integrating the highest caliber teachers, curriculum, and facilities to prepare students to meet life’s challenges. In 2006, when the time came to upgrade facilities, a challenge of another kind was issued and Simpson Construction Services made the grade.

Phase I of the project, a 30,000-square-foot renovation and 20,000-square-foot addition to the early childhood school and middle school, was completed in August. Construction of the addition began while school was still in session with crews worked closely with school officials to not interrupt classes in session. When classes dismissed in May, crews spent a rigorous 75 days completing the entire 30,000-square-foot remodel in time for the new school year. Phase 2, a new 4,500-square-foot band room and science room at the upper school, was completed in November.

Now, seven years later, Collegiate is on the cusp of their 50th Anniversary as SCS completes construction of their new Strength and Wellness Center, proof that a commitment to excellence is the heart of successful relationships.
