LOCATION: WICHITA, KS
The Via Christi at Saint Teresa Hospital project consists of a new three-story, 150,000 square foot facility utilizing structural steel as its primary structural component. The exterior skin of the building is constructed of precast concrete wall panels, metal panels, and stucco.
A new helipad, constructed just north of the hospital, will support the level 2 trauma hospital. The hospital features 72 private rooms, including labor and delivery rooms, universal rooms, recovery rooms, and typical patient rooms. Also featured in the hospital is an ER wing, including two trauma rooms and eleven patient rooms, an imaging area, including CT scanner, nuclear med, MRI, and radiology rooms, as well as four operatory rooms.
