In the 1970s, Simpson Construction partnered with St. Francis of Assisi to build their original church. Over the past 50+ years, this facility has become home to over 2,500 families and 150 ministries and organizations. In 2016-17, St. Francis began a visioning process to help lay the groundwork for determining and prioritizing their facility needs. The intention is to replace infrastructure, revitalize outdated elements, and renovate for maximum space efficiency.

Our team was selected as the Construction Manager for their "Rebuild My Church" campaign, a 26,200 SF phased renovation project that included improvements to their church and office spaces. The church received new flooring, pews, and restrooms, and renovations were made to the sacristy. Renovations to the existing offices created a more efficient use of space, including a new assembly area, bridal room, and ADA-compliant improvements such as installing an elevator. A fun fact about this project is that the three-story office area we renovated was the original church rectory.

We are grateful for the opportunity to be called back by St. Francis of Assisi to enhance their facility and ensure a lasting impact for future generations.
